It seems like our nation and world are in shambles and it may be time to lose all hope. However, we would like to argue that, that cannot be an option. Losing hope cannot be an option for multiple reasons – one being that there are people in this world that still need out care and support everyday. Because of this, the company wanted to use the platform God gave us to take on a life-saving initiative regardless of the global strife we are all enduring.
With that being said, we decided to join forces with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Club at UCLA and become a team member in the Man of the Year competition with the goal of raising $50,000 in 10 weeks. With everything going on in the world right now, it is imperative that immunocompromised individuals, like cancer patients, have the proper care and resources to stay healthy.
Man of the Year is a national fundraising competition run by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to raise money for blood cancer research. As a team, we have until July 19, 2020 to raise as much money as possible for the cause. Truthfully this fundraiser goes beyond just being a competition – it is a call to action. We need YOUR help in obtaining our goal and fighting against blood cancers. Your donation will be tax deductible and furthermore provided care to cancer patients on their journey to being cured.
